Wastewater Operator:
This employee will operate the Wastewater Treatment Facility and assist the Chief Plant Operator with adjustments to the facilitys operation, to insure compliance with water quality standards enforced by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the Environmental Protection Agency. The employee will be responsible for and assist with adjusting process controls, performing various laboratory tests, and the operation of the bio-solids disposal program. The employee will also perform building and grounds maintenance, respond to emergencies after hours, be required to work on-call shifts, and assist other divisions as needed to maintain discharge permit compliance.
