We are currently seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team at Lansing Correctional Facility located in Lansing, Kansas.
The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.
QualificationsDocumentation of education as MD or DO and completion of accredited residency program requiredBoard certified or eligible in PsychiatryCurrent license to practice medicine in Kansas or ability to obtainMust have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificateMust be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and obtain agency security clearance where applicableExperience in a correctional health setting or institutional setting preferred40 hour per week.
4 ten-hour weekday shifts.
